Version 1.1 has been sent to Apple for review. As soon as they release it, we will begin distribution.
This version incorporates many of the suggestions our customers have been asking for, including - Optimized support for the 3G - Better noise filtering on the 3G - Automatic handling of non-alphabetic characters in the contact list - Configurations in the iPhone "setting" screen, including Confirmation, quitting options, and 3G support

This was dated August 12th, it is now August 23rd and no update has appeared. The product does not work at this point. Surely you can either get Apple to post the update or take some action to help make your users have a satisfying experience.

We are working closely with Apple to get the update released. I will definitely let everyone know when we start shipping. It really should be any day now - worst case would be middle of next week.

The free update for version 1.1 has now officially posted to iTunes and you should receive the update notification on your iPhone in the App Store under "Updates".
Just click the VoiceThis Dialer update, read the "Whats new" and click "Install". The new version will replace version 1.0 on your iPhone. If you have already removed version 1.0, Apple detects this and will still allow you to download for free.
Hope you like it and please provide feedback. Again, more updates are on the way to improve on performance even more!

Hello, this version works much better on my 3G. But I'm having problem with the recognition part. Particularly, I can't figure out which phonetical spelling will work on many seemingly simplistic names: For example, Orfali (or fah ly??), Norbet (nor bet?), Mavro (Mah vro?), Chechski (che ch sky)? Can you help or refer us to a site that can help. I've been playing hide and seek with these for hours.
Also, as many people have requested, it would be really good if there was voice feedback so you don't have to look at the screen to see what is working. Finally, the start-up time is really long and a put-off - any suggestions?

As a quick guess (since I'm not sure on the actual sound of the names, but you could try: Orfali - Or Fall E Norbet - Nor Bet Mavro - Mauve Row Chechski - Check Ski Thanks for the other suggestions - both prompts and a quicker load time are being worked on currently and should be in the next release, which will be out as quickly as possible.
